We suggest first applying with a brush and then using a sponge. Use the brush to apply the iron effect to hard-to-reach areas, and then create a cast iron texture with the sponge.
4. What is the drying time?
It dries in 2–4 hours, with a full curing time of 1 day.
5. Can I apply another paint or material over it after it dries?
Yes, you can. It is especially compatible with Patina Spray, Rust Effect Paint, and Rust Activator.
6. Should I use a varnish after application?
We do not recommend using varnish, as it may cause loss of texture.
7. Is it suitable for outdoor use?
It is suitable for outdoor use; however, contact with water is not recommended.
8. Is it safe to use in children's projects?
It is water-based, free of toxic substances, and odorless, making it safe. However, like any product, it should be kept away from the mouth and eyes.
9. Does it contain real metal particles or powders?
No, it does not. It is a water-based, non-toxic, and odorless product, safe to use. However, as with any product, avoid contact with the mouth and eyes.
10. Does it create a rust effect or just a cast iron appearance?
It creates a cast iron appearance. To achieve a rust effect, you can use Rust Effect Paint together with Rust Activator.
11. How should I store the product to keep it fresh?
