“Craft” started in the world as a kind of activity that develops the physical and cognitive skills of people, provides a social and cultural dimension to the participant, and most importantly, gives a sense of achievement. Over the years, it has remained a popular activity, especially because it is clear to see the positive effects that crafting has on the overall mood and mindset of the crafts people themselves.. With the development of Craft, production began to be used for economic purposes as well. This development of Craft in the world resulted in the establishment of Public Education Centres in our country, and diversified into the 1990s.
At the end of the 1990s, Cadence Art & Hobby Paints brand started to produce the products that make up the basic groups of the craft industry. It has created a superior-quality, domestic brand image in the market in a short time by meeting the needs of the consumer with its rich colour scale, different packaging sizes, high- quality and fast production. The Cadence brand, which closely follows the developments abroad and rival companies, has continued to expand its product range and increase its knowledge and experience year on year.
Cadence has signed protocols with the Ministry of National Education, and taught its product range on projects by organizing trainings for both İSMEK and Public Education Centre trainers and private workshop owners every year within the scope of a Life-Long Education approach. The Cadence brand has supported the development of the sector with extensive trainings.
In 2007, Cadence increased its production capacity by speeding up its brand investments. With the increasing production capacity, the product range evolved from its basic product range and now consists of effect paints, cracking, relief pastes, adhesives, mediums and other complementary materials. Cadence Art & Hobby Paints aims to meet all the needs of its customers with the production of transfers, stencils and brushes in a vast array of models produced by itself, as well as a wide range of paint, medium and special effects products.
In addition, it has made handicrafts more practical with the development of transfers and stencils. Our brand motto is“Just Cadence is Enough for You.” This slogan summarizes the wide product range, rich colour scale, quality and unconditional customer satisfaction understanding of the Cadence brand.
With its ongoing R&D studies, Cadence started to produce in accordance with EN 71 European Norms. The entire product range of Cadence brand, which produces according to EN71 European norms & CE compliance, is water-based, does not contain harmful substances to health and is not allergic. Cadence owes its quality to the high- quality raw materials it uses, and all its products are tested by national accreditation bodies and can be used safely by consumers of all ages.
Cadence started its export breakthrough in 2010 with its high- quality and reasonable price policy in European Standards and a rich product range. It has become a brand that exports to more than 55 countries by achieving success in a short space of time with its stands and quality products and presentations prepared entirely by hand in the international fairs it participated in.
Cadence Innovative Design Academy started its activities in June 2017 and became a model academy established by the manufacturer in Turkey and in the world. Its aim is to show the brand’s wide product range, usage areas and techniques to its domestic and international customers in practice and to create them together. The designers and teachers at Cadence are happy to learn as much as they teach, and Basic and Advanced Trainings are given practically through projects. Every year, training programs are renewed and new techniques are created. With the Academy, the brand has become a “Learning Organization”. The motto of the academy has been “We like to create with inspiration”. With their creative projects, social media live broadcasts, they encouraged consumers to inspire and produce with the motto “Yes, You Can” during the time spent at home, including the Covid period. Brand promotion has been reinforced with the widespread trainings given abroad. In parallel with the developments in the world, Cadence brand has made all the training programs given by the academy electronic.
Increasing brand awareness in Turkey and abroad has brought international awards. Cadence brand’s widest range of craft paints and colours in Europe and America, continuous and flexible product development, long years of knowledge and technology and export experience gave the brand the International Leadership Award Star in the GOLD category in 2018 by the International European BID organization. The brand works to spread this quality culture among its employees, customers and suppliers. This award received from Europe was followed by another award from the USA in 2019. Cadence was deemed worthy of the International Business Excellence Award of the BIZZ organization of America. It received the “Best Paint Brand in Turkey” award in 2021.
Cadence not only contributed to the development of handicrafts with its rich product range covering areas such as wood, fabric, glass, effects, and the trainings it gave to trainers, but also contributed to the income of women. In addition, it has made a great contribution to recycling in Turkey with the product called Hybrid, which can be applied to all surfaces it produces. Thus, Cadence products have ceased to be a brand used only by those who are interested in handicrafts and have begun to enter the homes of many consumers outside of the handicrafts arena. People of all ages and professions have started to transform all the items in their homes thanks to these paints. With the motto of “We do not throw away, we renew”, all materials that can be considered, such as kitchens, bathrooms, steel doors, living room furniture, bedrooms, ceramics, have been brought back to life by upcycling with Cadence. Thus, consumers have made significant contributions to the family economy by reducing consumption by using Cadence products. With the effect of social media, women have taken this job as their profession. Recycling Consulting has become a profession.
Cadence brand, which started as handicrafts, expanded and changed its educational networks as it developed, and turned its production into a sector and benefited employment with its leadership and pioneering in its country, as well as its exports. As a Turkish brand, it has proven its quality in more than 55 countries.
Cadence company has also managed to grow out of the Covid Pandemic period, which changed the world economy. It has implemented two factories on 10.000 m2 in Düzce. One of the factories is designed for paint production and the other for packaging, stencil and transfer production.
