Cadence Very Chalky Paint Properties and Application
Very chalky paint has the ability to adhere even on MDF veneer, chipboard and varnished surfaces without sanding. The waiting time between coats is shorter. With the help of sandpaper, aging process or knot appearance can be obtained. These paints are preferred for aging works. It has high coverage in one coat. As with all Cadence paints, it is odorless and does not contain toxic substances that may harm health.
Cadence Very Chalky Paint Types
1-Very Chalky Home Decor Paint: Suitable for use on furniture and wooden surfaces. Available in 150 ml and 500 ml.
2- Very Chalky Wash Effect Paint: It is a transparent paint. It makes transparent coloring without closing the texture on the applied surface. It can be used for coloring on solid and raw wood surfaces and products such as polyester.
3-Best of Very Chalky Home Decor Set: A single color can be used for painting according to preference. In addition, Home Decor Wax can be used between the two combined colors and aging can be created with the second color.
4-Very Chalky Home Decor Glass: It can be used for painting glass surfaces and even aging on them. It does not require varnish after painting.

Distressed Look with Cadence Very Chalky Wash Effect Paint
- The surface of the furniture to be painted should be free of dust.
- Start the painting process by choosing a color from the wide color range of Cadence very chalky home decor paint.
- After the paint is thoroughly mixed, the amount to be used is taken into the paint container and thoroughly absorbed into the roller, the furniture is started to be painted. The first coat is applied in a thin layer without pressing the roller. Painting is done until the paint on the roller is finished.
- The waiting time for this Cadence paint is 6-8 hours. After the waiting period, the second coat can be painted.
- When the floor painting process is finished and completely dry, home decor wax is applied on top for the aging process.
- After the home decor wax dries, the second color is painted on top until the bottom color is completely covered. After the paint dries, the aging stage can be started.
- The place to be aged is completed with vintage sandpaper at the desired density.
- Varnishing can be done afterwards.
